About
Welcome to my journey in the art of tattooing. Since commencing my career in 2003, I have had the privilege of traveling globally to share my passion for tattoo artistry. My work has been featured in numerous publications, and I have been honored with several awards recognizing my craft. I am also excited to share my expertise through my international initiative, "The Science of Tattooing."
Background
I grew up in a family of artists. Both of my parents were alternative, creative individuals with art school backgrounds. I was fortunate to grow up in Santa Fe, NM, a city that values fine art and unique expression. I attended a high school that emphasized fine arts and later studied art history at the University of New Mexico. I began tattooing in 2003. In the early years of my career, I balanced multiple jobs and continued my studies. By 2006, tattooing became my full-time profession, and I have never looked back. I am committed to learning new techniques and expanding my knowledge in technology and science. My lifelong ambition is to grow both as an artist and an individual. For the past decade, I have owned and operated my own studios. As a tattoo artist, I bring a unique perspective as a business owner, researcher, author, and artist.
Mission
Tattooing as an art form and a form of therapy has existed longer than recorded history. The oldest preserved human remains, Otzi the Iceman, had tattoos, indicating that body adornment is as ancient as humanity itself. Changing our bodies through tattoos can empower us and boost our confidence in everyday life. A tattoo can transform how we see ourselves in the mirror or in photos. My mission is for every person leaving my studio to feel excited about their appearance forever. They should feel thrilled to have collaborated with an artist to express themselves permanently. Throughout history, tattoos have brought power and protection to their wearers across cultures worldwide. I tattoo with intention.
